Where is DAC's Car Rental available?
Currently, DAC's Car Rental operates exclusively in Pune, serving all major areas including Baner, Kothrud, Hinjewadi, Koregaon Park, and Sinhgad Road. We're continuously expanding our service areas to provide better accessibility across the city.
Where do I pick up the rented vehicle?
We have multiple convenient pickup locations across Pune. You can select your preferred pickup point during the booking process. All locations are clearly listed on our platform with addresses and operating hours. Alternatively, you can opt for our doorstep delivery service for added convenience.
Is there an age requirement for renting a car?
Yes, to rent a car with us, you must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Indian driving license that you've held for a minimum of 1 year. For certain premium vehicle categories, the minimum age requirement may be 25 years.
Do you offer home delivery of the rental car?
Yes! We offer convenient doorstep delivery and pickup across most areas in Pune. This service is subject to availability and may include a nominal delivery charge depending on your location. You can select this option during the booking process on our website or app.
What's the maximum rental duration available?
You can rent a vehicle from us for up to 2 months through our standard rental plans. For longer durations exceeding 2 months, we offer special long-term lease programs with customized pricing. Contact our customer support team to discuss extended rental options.
Can I make group reservations for multiple cars?
Yes, we accommodate group reservations for events, weddings, corporate functions, or group trips. For bookings requiring 3 or more vehicles, we recommend contacting our team at least 15 days in advance to ensure vehicle availability and arrange special group rates.
What types of vehicles are available?
Our diverse fleet includes economical hatchbacks, comfortable sedans, spacious SUVs, and premium vehicles to suit various needs and budgets. You can choose based on seating capacity, fuel type (Petrol/Diesel/CNG), and transmission (Manual/Automatic). All vehicles are regularly maintained and thoroughly sanitized.
What documents do I need to provide?

Note: PAN card alone is not accepted as valid government ID proof.
Is fuel included in the rental price?
No, fuel costs are not included in our rental pricing. We provide the vehicle with a full tank and expect it to be returned with a full tank. If returned with less fuel, refueling charges will apply at market rates plus a service fee.

Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a refundable security deposit is required at the time of vehicle pickup. The amount varies by vehicle category and is temporarily held on your credit/debit card. For customers with a good rental history and multiple successful bookings, we may offer deposit waivers or reductions.
Can I take the rental car outside Pune?
Yes! Our cars come with All-India Tourist Permits, allowing you to travel anywhere in India. However, you must inform us in advance about interstate travel plans. Some restrictions may apply to certain border areas or specific states - please check with our team before planning such trips.
How long do refunds take to process?
Refunds for security deposits or cancelled bookings are typically processed within 7-9 business days after the vehicle return and inspection. The exact timing may vary depending on your bank's processing period. You'll receive a confirmation message once the refund is initiated.
What are the charges for late return?
We allow a 1-hour grace period for returns. After this, late fees apply:
• First 3 hours: Standard hourly rate × 1.5
• Beyond 3 hours: Standard hourly rate × 2 + additional penalty
To avoid charges, please extend your booking through our app or contact us in advance if you need more time.
What happens if the car gets damaged?
Our vehicles include comprehensive insurance covering accidents and damages, subject to policy terms. Customers are responsible for any damages caused by negligence or violation of rental terms. In case of damage, please immediately contact our 24/7 support and avoid moving the vehicle if unsafe.
Can I list my own car with DAC's Car Rental?
Yes! Our "List Your Car" program allows vehicle owners to earn passive income by listing their cars on our platform. We handle all maintenance, insurance, and customer management. Visit our website's "Earn With Us" section or contact our partner team for more details on requirements and earnings potential.
What happens to leftover Fastag balance?
Any remaining Fastag balance above ₹500 is refundable upon request. Balances of ₹500 or less are non-refundable as per standard Fastag policies. To claim a refund, please contact our customer support within 7 days of returning the vehicle with your Fastag transaction details.
Who pays for traffic violations during rental?
The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, fines, and penalties incurred during the rental period. We will forward any violation notices received to the renter for payment. Failure to pay fines may result in additional administrative charges and affect future booking eligibility.
