Terms & Conditions
By booking a vehicle with DAC's Car Rental, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your reservation.
1. Rental Requirements & Policies
1.1 Documentation for Vehicle Collection
When collecting your vehicle, you must present:
- Valid driver's license (original)
- One additional ID proof (choose from):
- Voter ID card
- Office or College ID
- Aadhaar Card
- Passport
- Recent electricity bill or rent agreement
1.2 Payment Methods
We accept digital payments only:
- UPI
- Debit/Credit Cards
- Mobile Wallets
- Secure payment links
Cash payments are not accepted. DAC's Car Rental is not responsible for any cash transactions made outside our official system.
1.3 Distance Limitations
Each booking includes a predetermined number of free kilometers. Additional distance traveled will incur per-kilometer charges as per our current pricing.
1.4 Late Return Charges
Timely returns ensure availability for all customers. Late returns will result in additional fees:

1.5 Fuel/Battery Level Requirements
Vehicles must be returned with fuel/battery levels matching the pickup reading:
- Petrol Two-Wheeler: ₹100 penalty + actual fuel cost
- Petrol/Diesel Four-Wheeler: ₹350 penalty + actual fuel cost
- Electric Vehicles:
- Four-Wheeler: ₹150 penalty if below 50% of starting charge
- Two-Wheeler: ₹250 penalty if below 50% of starting charge
1.6 Fuel Refunds
If you return the vehicle with more than 20% excess fuel compared to pickup level, you may request a refund by emailing support@dacscarrental.com. Refunds are not available for fuel-less bookings or processed on-site.
1.7 Driving License Requirement
You must present your valid driving license to receive the vehicle. Failure to provide this will result in a no-show status, automatic booking cancellation, and no refund will be issued.
1.8 Document Loss or Damage
If any vehicle documents are lost or damaged during your rental period, applicable fines will be charged based on the specific document affected.
1.9 Booking Cancellation Rights
DAC's Car Rental and its authorized partners reserve the right to refuse, decline, or cancel any booking at any time if deemed necessary.
1.10 Vehicle Return Location
Vehicles must be returned to the original pickup location unless prior approval is obtained. Unauthorized returns to different locations will incur a ₹250 penalty.
1.11 Early Return Policy
If you return the vehicle earlier than the scheduled drop-off time, no refund will be provided for the unused rental period. The booking amount covers the entire reserved duration.
2. Vehicle Condition & Responsibilities
2.1 Vehicle Handover
By accepting the vehicle, you confirm:
- The vehicle is in good, clean condition (unless noted otherwise)
- All tools, spare tire, keys, and accessories are present
- Odometer seal is intact and untampered
- Odometer reading and fuel level have been recorded
2.2 "As-Is" Condition
Vehicles are provided in their documented condition at pickup. DAC's Car Rental does not guarantee suitability for specific purposes.
2.3 Damage Responsibility
You are responsible for any new damage not recorded at pickup. Rental fees cannot be withheld or reduced due to vehicle issues unless previously documented.
2.4 Vehicle Breakdown
For breakdowns due to normal wear and tear within the same city, we'll attempt to provide a similar replacement vehicle during business hours, subject to availability. Additional rental charges may apply.
2.5 Communication Consent
By registering on our platform, you consent to receive communications from us until all pending service fees, invoices, or account balances are fully cleared. This consent remains valid until all dues are settled.
2.6 Post-Rental Damage Reports
If any vehicle damage is discovered after breakdown repairs, accident repairs, or after your rental period ends (but before the next booking), we will notify you once. You must pay applicable damage charges as per our penalty policy.
3. Liability Limitations
DAC's Car Rental or our operating partners will not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including losses, injuries, or costs) arising from this agreement, regardless of cause.
We operate as a platform service, facilitating bookings, tracking, and payments. A portion of the fees is retained as platform charges, with the remaining share distributed to vehicle owners/investors and operating partners.
4. Vehicle Repossession
If you violate any terms or conditions of this agreement, DAC's Car Rental or our partners may repossess the vehicle at any time, at their sole discretion.
5. Prohibited Vehicle Use
5.1 No Competitive Events
Vehicles cannot be used for rallies, races, competitions (professional or amateur), or media shoots.
5.2 No Impaired Driving
Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that impairs driving ability is strictly prohibited.
5.3 No Illegal Activities
Vehicles cannot be used for committing crimes or engaging in any illegal activities.
6. User Guidelines
6.1 Required Documentation
Bring your original driving license and one additional ID (Local ID, Office ID, College ID, Rent Agreement, hotel booking details, or travel booking details) when collecting your vehicle.
6.2 Security Deposit Options
You must submit your original driving license or PAN card to our staff for security. If unwilling to submit these documents, a refundable ₹5,000 security deposit is required.
6.3 No-Fuel Package Terms
The no-fuel package has no travel distance limits, but distance charges will be added to your booking. Fuel expenses are not reimbursed under this package.
6.4 Security Deposit Refund
Your security deposit will be refunded within 24 to 48 hours after your rental period ends.
6.5 Payment Methods
DAC's Car Rental does not accept cash payments. Please use debit/credit cards, UPI, mobile wallets, or our secure payment links.
7. Damage & Insurance Policies
7.1 Damage Assessment Authority
Only DAC's Car Rental staff or authorized partners have the right to determine damage severity. For major or consequential damages, customers must pay the full repair cost.
7.2 Additional Charges
If damage penalties are calculated part-by-part, an additional 10% to 25% may be applied to the total.
7.3 Two-Wheeler Damages
Major damage charges for two-wheelers range from ₹14,999 to ₹24,999 based on severity.
7.4 Four-Wheeler Damages
Major damages for four-wheelers (frontal damage, radiator/condenser damage, oil leakage, engine issues, or repairs exceeding ₹29,999) incur a ₹29,999 charge.
7.5 Accident Procedures
- Customers must pay towing charges separately in case of accidents
- Damage charges apply even when insurance claims are made
- Submit vehicle keys, original documents, and required insurance paperwork to the pickup location within 24 hours
7.6 Insurance Documentation Requirements
For insurance claims, provide:
- Accident details and vehicle number
- List of passengers
- Date, time, location, and travel direction during accident
- Vehicle speed at time of accident
- Complete driver details (name, license number, address)
- FIR copy or NOC from local police station
- Written accident description signed by you and a witness
- Self-attested copies of Driving License, Aadhaar, and local ID
- Signed Insurance Claim Form with all required details
7.7 Speed Limits & Permits
Our vehicles have maximum speed limits of 80 km/h to 120 km/h as per road regulations. Over-speeding will result in fines. For interstate travel, customers must obtain required state permits.
8. Legal Provisions & Dispute Resolution
8.1 Governing Jurisdiction
Any disagreements, conflicts, or legal matters arising between DAC's Car Rental and its customers will be subject to the exclusive legal jurisdiction of courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Legal Expenses Responsibility: In any legal proceedings, the customer (including platform users and vehicle partners) shall be responsible for covering DAC's Car Rental's legal costs, attorney fees, and all related litigation expenses, including any appeal processes.
Legal Notification Requirement: Customers must promptly inform and deliver to DAC's Car Rental any legal documents received, including:
- Court summons or notices
- Legal complaints
- Official notifications regarding accidents
- Theft reports involving the rented vehicle
- Any other incident-related legal correspondence
9. Platform Usage Agreement
9.1 Binding Agreement
By accessing and using the DAC's Car Rental platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement with DAC's Car Rental (including our authorized vendors and partners). This agreement applies to:
- All individual customers
- Vehicle owners and partners
- Franchise partners
- Any person using our services
This digital agreement holds full legal validity under Section 10(A) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India, and constitutes an enforceable contract between all parties.
Your continued use of our platform, services, or website constitutes your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and amendments published herein.
9.2 Agreement Acceptance
This agreement becomes effective upon:
- Creating an account on our platform
- Making a booking reservation
- Using any DAC's Car Rental service
- Continuing to access our website or mobile application
You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by all provisions contained in these Terms and Conditions.
Agreement Confirmation
By proceeding with any booking or using DAC's Car Rental services, you confirm your acceptance of all terms outlined in this document, including legal jurisdiction, dispute resolution processes, and platform usage agreements.
This document is publicly available and constitutes the complete agreement between you and DAC's Car Rental.
